Direct Access to Scenic Trails and Dark Skies

Step outside your door and straight onto scenic walking trails that wind through the Black Mountains and the wider Brecon Beacons National Park. After a day of exploring, relax under the stars in one of the UK’s designated Dark Sky Reserves. It's an unforgettable experience made even better from the warmth of your private hot tub.

Facilities

  • Two Shepherds Huts

  • 2 king-size beds

  • Private toilet and shower available at the retreat within 10 meters of the Hut.

  • Private Cooking facilities and utensils include an electric stove and camp fire.

  • We do not supply bedding and towels so please bring your own.

Other things to note

The driveway from the road to the farm is not suitable for low profile cars. In this instance we can offer collection/pick up from the bottom of the drive if requested.

  • Superb setup, remote and peaceful, arrived to a pre warmed hot tub and next day walked the mountains you stare at! Fabulous weather, starry nights - loved it. Met in the farmyard and shown to the spaces, all spotless and functional. Absolutely nothing to suggest as an improvement! Thank you

  • We had the most amazing weekend in the cabin! The surroundings are beautiful and such an escape from everyday busy life! We loved sitting around the campfire cooking dinner and relaxing in the hot tub. We also enjoyed a 4 hour hike with beautiful views. Highly recommend to anyone thinking of staying - you won’t be disappointed. Everything is idyllic but with a sense of adventure too! Danny is a great host , really helpful, kind and nothing is too much trouble. Overall, the best weekend!

  • We had an incredible weekend in the cabin! The views from the hot tub are truly breathtaking.... we were lucky to have a clear sky , so had a sky full of beautiful stars to gaze at. We enjoyed how private and secluded it felt, allowing us to unwind and relax. Danny and Hazel had thought about everything, ensuring all needs are catered for and making it very accommodating and comfortable. The entire place was spotless and you can see how much thought and care has been put into making it so special. Thank you so much for having us, we are definitely planning on coming back soon.

  • If you’re thinking about staying here, just do it! Such a beautiful spot. So tranquil and a proper break from busy life. Danny met us on arrival and was around to say goodbye at the end too. He was so helpful showing us around and how everything worked. Everything worked perfectly, and the hot tub was even warm for our arrival. Beautiful walks right from the hut. Could not recommend this more and really wish we could have stayed longer.
